Watching the Video

AVI videos
You need to download the right codecs to watch the video. Use Combined Community Codec Pack.

OGM videos
Downloading Combined Community Codec Pack will let you watch the files in Windows Media Player. Since Windows Media Player will not recognize OGM files, so you might have to manually associate the file with Windows Meda Player.

You'll see a green arrow icon in your system tray soon after you open the OGM file with a proper player. To turn on English subtitles, right-click on the green arrow in the icon and choose the first subtitle option. You may have to restart the player and adjust your video acceleration settings to see the subtitles.

...Or, instead of using CCCP, you can download VLC Media Player for free. After installing VLC Player, the OGM video file should automatically playback using VLC.

Taking Screenshots

AVI and OGM videos
* In Windows Media Player, go to Tools > Options > Performance > Video Acceleration. You will see a slider. Set the slider to halfway between "None" and "Full". Now you can copy screenshots by pressing the "PrintScreen" key. Paste the screenshot into a paint program.

* In CCCP's ZoomPlayer, press Alt + F. Be sure to specify a file path to save your pictures [Options(Advanced Mode) > Values > Other]. If your screenshot is all black, go to Options(Advanced Mode) > Filter Control > Video Renderer. Choose VMR9 Windowless Mode.

* In VLC Player, press Ctrl-Alt-S to take a screenshot. The screenshot will appear in "My Documents/My Pictures". Go to the Preferences menu to change the screenshot hotkey or the screenshot directory.
