Well. It is now 2:05 EST (due to re-matching issues)
We have a final total of 24 fighters!
Good luck to everyone participating
And to those that aren't, please root on your fellows with lots of fanart
Boost morale and such
And to those who didn't submit on time, or had to drop out
Depending on the success of this tourney
There will be other opportunities to fight

You will have until May 4th to post your version of your battle.
All entries go on the fight board.
You can use whatever media to do this with
[oekaki, pencil, photoshop, ect.]</center>

Don't be intimidated by the samples. I'm not expecting this to be quite that extravagant.

Argh, 'riki, I have finals that week...! (and dead week, the studying week, before that)
i may have to be your drop out  !!!
is there any way to get in on it after the first round? (aka when my summer starts-ish?)

Oh no!
I'm not sure...
Could change the listing so that you're in the extra slot,
(assuming we don't get our 24th person)
so that you could get thru to round two without going through round one

this is my last semester at this school--if I get under a 3.0, i fail out, and it would be wasting a whole two years of education. booo!
i'm already failing physics, lol, i need something >C on the final in order to pass the class. so far i've gotten nothing higher than d's on my tests. 
BUT ITS OKAY!! i have a's in everything else. bwahaha.

| Just to clarify in simple terms how this works, both fighters in the match up draw their own version of the fight and then the best one goes on to the next round?

That's exactly how it works.
I still need to figure out how I'll work the polling system that determines the winners, but I have a week to get that down.
