The system is easy and familiar enough.
Design a fighter for a Saiga Arena Showdown.
For fun, try and make your fighter a representation of yourself
(followers of dA bandwagons could connect this to the pixel ID trend)

(Here's a quick example: [LINK])

Here's the rules.

You have four stats to keep track of

Strength (str)
Magic (mag)
Defense (def)
Stamina (sta)

You have <i>only</i> 20 points to spend on your stats
Maximum of 10 points to one stat.

You get a choice of one weapon (kept within reason)
You get to have one overdrive attack (also within reason)

You have a choice of one element to pick from out of the following ten

Wind - Earth
Fire - Ice
Water - Lightning
Space - Time
Dark - Light

Paired Elements are weak against each other
(Shut up. it made sense when I wrote it out, and I don't want to write up a table of weaknesses, and don't feel like stealing from pokemon right now)

Not sure if I want to make this a requirement, but an associated color might be potentially helpful.


If I get at least 10 people to do this
I might start organizing actual battles to draw out on the Mangaka board.
You yourselves are free and encouraged to do your own grudge matches, however. :3


This project was organized to get some activity on the boards
So please draw all of your characters with the oekaki applet
You can add all your details and stuff with other programs
Just make sure your fighter was drawn on Saiga

Oh my, this does sound interesting. :'D How often would matches be? ...the different boards should be like different stages, and drawing on them can give players different climates to battle in. XD Or not.

Huh.. That makes me wonder, you think the theme board could be used as the battle board for a while? ( If there's enough people for this, that is. No one really seems to be interested in the themes all that much anyway. )

Once I'm not busy with school (which will be about two weeks into May since my AP exams will be over) I might try to update maybe once a week.

Any details can be arranged after we get enough people, though.

Also, as a side note: I had no idea what element to make her. She's a cowgirl, for goodness sake. Magic to them is like hoodoo wicked. So she'll be element-less, I guess with no particular weakness but no real strengths, either?
