OMG so pretty! I'm only 12, and my mom got me into Sailor Moon. LOL. It's so beautiful, I love pictures like this,especially with a dark background and wistful expression. I could go on for days about my love for this!

Hey all! I messaged a bunch of people earlier this week about a sort of virtual reunion of the old sai-ga crowd :) So I thought I'd kick it off early (b/c school has started again and I am sure to get busier in coming weeks) with a redo of my first Sai-ga oekaki! It's pretty embarrassing (and this one is not that much better OTL), but you can compare here: http://xende.deviantart.com/art/1st-Oekaki-150431118

From the feedback I've gotten, I think we can just make January reunion month, since everyone's busy at different times :) Theme-wise, it's either a redo of an old (preferably sai-ga) oekaki, or a sailor-related oekaki. If you really can't think of anything to draw based on those, that's fine too, we don't want to discourage anyone from joining in!

One last thing: I think it would be great if we could set two or three paintchat times where people could get on and chat together, like a real reunion :D

This is lovely! I always loved how you used color and your pallette compliments your piece so well. :) You've always had such talent for realism and painting back then, and you still do. And your improvement is amazing! I can't wait until we all meet up in paintchat, how is it organized? :) I'll whip up something as soon as I find time!

simply 'typical' comic characters (i.e. scantily clad woman, weird-coloured-skin mutant, metallic muscle man) any resemblance to actual characters is totally unintentional. Don't take this too seriously, I was going for kind of a cheesy poking-fun-at-comic-stereotypes type of thing. That is why the guy is doing the roll-eyes-and-sigh (even though you can't see his eyes haha)

sorry it took so long to finish, I totally underestimated the difficulty of drawing with a touchpad x_x
